After a couple of shipments of ceramic vases arrived broken and apparently destined for the bin, Jazzy Jess turned her hand to a poor man’s version of ‘kintsugi’. Kintsugi is a Japanese technique that translates as ‘golden joinery’, which aimed to make repairs beautiful with the use of gold. However, gold being in short supply in South London, epoxy and paints were used to create a similar effect.
